Sam Perkins, PhD

Sam moved to College Station in 1995 to pursue his doctorate in biochemistry and biophysics at Texas A&M University. After graduating with his PhD, Sam then completed a chemistry post-doctorate study at Texas A&M.

Sam has been a chemistry lecturer at Sam Houston State University for the last 18 years. He has been tutoring students at both Texas A&M University and Blinn Community College for approximately 20 years.

Sam’s tutoring methods focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, while adapting to each student's learning style. He aims to help students build a solid foundation for success in their current and future classes.
